Panch Badri Yatra 2019 Tour Package

All the Panch Badri temples are dedicated to lord Vishnu and is perched majestically on the hilly regions of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. These temples are visited by not only avid Vaishnavites but also by religious Hindus. The temples of this yatra circuit are Vishal Badri or Badrinath, Yogdhyan Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Vridh Badri and Adi Badri. The entire region is popularly named Badri Kshetra and is an important destination for pilgrimage. The region is not only spiritual but also holds some of the most picturesque scenes of the Himalayas.

ITINERARY | 08 Nights/ 09 days

Day 1

Delhi – Rishikesh

Your journey will start from Delhi early in the morning to Rishikesh. On reaching you will be checked in to your hotel here for an overnight stay. After freshening up you will be taken on a brief sightseeing tour of Rishikesh temples. In the evening you will be attending the evening Ganga Aarti that takes place here every evening to honour Ganga Maa gushing by.

Day 2

Rishikesh – Rudraprayag – Pipalkoti

After having your breakfast early in the morning you will be made to be driven from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti. En route you will be visiting Rudraprayag along with a visit to Koteshwar Mahadev temple. On reaching Pipalkoti you will be made to check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Pipalkoti – Vishnuprayag – Badrinath

After having your breakfast early in the morning you will be made to head on to your next destination of Badrinath. On your way you will be visiting the holy Prayag of Vishnu Prayag. This will be a road journey of around 3 hours where on arrival you will get checked in for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Badrinath Sightseeing

Early in the morning even before breakfast you will be taken on a morning Darshan at Badri Vishal. There are several places of tourist sightseeing around Badrinath like Mana village, Bheem Pul, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa etc. this is also one of the 4 Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand along with Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. After a complete sightseeing and darshan you will be made to head back to your accommodation here for an overnight stay.

Day 5

Badrinath – Pandukeshwar Mahadev – Yogdhyan Badri – Joshimath

After completing your darshan in the morning and your breakfast you will be made to head for your next destination in Joshimath. En route you will be made to stop over at pandukeshwar and yogdhyan which are 2 of the most religious spots here. on reaching Joshimath you will be made to check in to your hotel here for an overnight stay.

Day 6

Joshimath – Syaldhar – Bhavishya Badri – Joshimath

After having your breakfast in the morning you will be driven to Syaldhar which is the starting point for the trek of Bhavishya Badri. This will be a very scintillating journey amidst the pristine natural beauty. Adorned on the shrine is the Narasimha lion head image. Visitors will also be crossing the scenic Tapovan. You will be spending the night in Joshimath.

Day 7

Joshimath – Vridha Badri – Adi Badri

From Joshimath early in the morning you will be taken for a visit to Vridha Badri for Darshan which is also known as old Badri and the idol enshrined here is said to have been carved out by Vishwakarma himself. After the completion of your darshan you will be taken to Adi Badri via Karna Prayag. On reaching you will be made to check in to your allotted hotel here for an overnight stay.

Day 8

Adi Badri – Ranikhet

You will be driven to Ranikhet early in the morning after completing your breakfast. You will be taking the route via Gairsain. This will be a road journey of around 11 hours. On reaching you will be checked in to your allotted accommodation here for an overnight stay.

Day 9

Ranikhet – Delhi Departure

After having your breakfast in the morning you will be driven to Delhi. On reaching you will be transferred to your departure location of airport or train station from where you will be boarding your transportation for your onward journey to your desired destination.

Cancellation policy

In case the Panch Badri services are not incurred due to unexpected and unforeseen situations causing travel not possible then the following cancellation policy will be followed :

  • More than 30 days before the scheduled date of commencement – 10% of the overall amount
  • 30 days before the scheduled date of commencement – 20% of the overall amount
  • 30 to 15 days before the scheduled date of commencement – 50% of the overall amount
  • Less than 15 days before the scheduled date of commencement – 100% i.e. no refund

In case there is no show from the side of the passenger then the overall amount will be forfeited.

Do’s & Don’ts

Do’s

  • Carry only essentials since you will be travelling at a high altitude and you would be able to travel lightly.
  • Be sure to pack a necessary first aid kit containing band aids, bandages, cotton, pain killers, anti-fever medication, anti-diarrhoea medicines etc.
  • Remember to keep yourself hydrated by drinking lots of water. Being a tough journey, you will be needing a lot of energy to cope with high altitude issues which can easily be dealt with drinking good amounts of water.
  • To minimise pollution, carry your own water bottles that you could even fill up at different water sources.
  • Dealing with high altitude terrain becomes easier if you walk wearing a good quality of sneakers or sports shoes.
  • Carry good quality of woollen clothing items and thermals to deal with winter months or even if you are travelling in the summer season.
  • Since you will be travelling for a long time in a car you are advised to wear comfortable clothing which will be appropriate for travelling.

Don'ts

  • Do not over eat or else the journey will be every uncomfortable and you will feel restless.
  • Do not be late and remember to follow all the instructions and regulations given to you by your tour operator and be there on time.
  • Do not be late on your bookings since this is one of the most widely acclaimed pilgrimages in India.
  • Do not book your package for Panch Badri yatra for the rainy or monsoon months when the weather is very unpredictable and not worthy for travelling.
